Customer Terms & Conditions



BACKGROUND

(a) Televita Pty Ltd (ABN 55 670 753 750) trades as Televita operates TeleScript Rx, a digital health platform that enables prescribers, patients (or their authorised representatives), and community pharmacies to securely manage prescriptions, health information, and medication orders.

(b) TeleScript Rx facilitates digital communication between prescribers and pharmacies. Televita does not provide medical, clinical, or pharmaceutical services, nor dispense or supply medicines.

(c) All medications ordered through TeleScript Rx are dispensed and supplied solely by registered Australian community pharmacies, in accordance with relevant pharmacy and medicines laws.

(d) Delivery of medications is organised on behalf of pharmacy partners. Televita acts only as a technology provider and payment collection agent, not as a healthcare provider or supplier of medicines.


1. ACCEPTANCE

(a) The TeleScript Rx website, portal and associated services (collectively, the Services) are provided by Televita. The Services may be accessed via:

  • www.televita.com.au
  • televita.com.au/telescript-rx
  • connect.televita.com.au (Televita Connect Portal)
  • Any related applications, subdomains or integrations.

(b) By accessing or using the Services, you expressly:

  • confirm that you have read and understood these Terms and our Privacy Policy;
  • agree to be bound by them;
  • warrant you are legally capable of entering into an agreement with us;
  • if using the Services on behalf of another person, confirm you have their full consent and legal authority to do so;
  • warrant that all information provided is accurate, complete and not misleading;
  • agree to use the Services in accordance with these Terms.

(c) Televita is not a medical practice. Nothing in TeleScript Rx constitutes medical advice. You must seek professional advice from a qualified practitioner.

(d) You accept these Terms by accessing the Services, creating an account, or submitting information through the portal.

(e) You must be at least 16 years of age to use TeleScript Rx.


2. ORDERS & PRESCRIPTIONS

(a) TeleScript Rx allows you to transmit, manage and request fulfilment of prescriptions via a connected pharmacy.

(b) Any order you place is:

  • an offer to purchase medication or products from a pharmacy, not from Televita.

(c) The dispensing pharmacy may accept or reject orders at its professional discretion (e.g., stock, legal, clinical, safety, or regulatory reasons).

(d) You are responsible for ensuring prescription details and order information are correct at the time of submission.

(e) You will receive order acknowledgment once processed by the dispensing pharmacy or when payment is validated.


3. PRICE AND PAYMENTS

(a) All prices are shown in AUD and may include GST where applicable.

(b) Prices are set by participating pharmacies, not Televita.

(c) Televita collects payments as a limited payment collection agent for pharmacies.

(d) Valid payment methods include those supported on the platform. Fraudulent or unauthorised payment methods are prohibited.

(e) Third-party payment processors may apply their own terms.


4. DELIVERY, TITLE & RISK

(a) Televita arranges delivery on behalf of the dispensing pharmacy.

(b) Delivery is only available within Australia.

(c) Estimated delivery times may vary depending on courier services. Televita is not liable for courier delays.

(d) Title to medications passes from the pharmacy to you upon dispensing and payment.

(e) Risk transfers once the order is delivered to the address you provide.

(f) Some deliveries may require a signature. If unattended, parcels may be left, redirected, or returned to the pharmacy.

(g) For temperature-sensitive items, you must ensure safe storage once delivered.


5. RETURNS

(a)We do not accept returns for change of mind.

(b)You may have rights under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL).

(c) For valid ACL claims, return costs will be refunded, and products may be replaced or refunded depending on the circumstances.


6. REFUNDS POLICY

(a) Change of Mind
Due to health and safety regulations, pharmacies cannot accept returns of medications or health products for change of mind.

(b) Damaged / Incorrect Items
If you receive damaged, faulty, or incorrect items, notify us within 1 hour with supporting evidence (e.g., photo, order number).

(c) Prescription Items
Prescription medications cannot be returned unless there has been a dispensing error by the pharmacy.

(d) Refunds (if applicable) are processed to the original payment method within 5–7 business days.


7. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

(a) All software, code, content, branding, and materials relating to TeleScript Rx and Televita Connect are owned by Televita.

(b) You must not reproduce, modify, or distribute our intellectual property without written permission.


8. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

(a) Televita is not liable for:

  • indirect or consequential loss;
  • clinical or healthcare outcomes;
  • decisions made by prescribers or pharmacies;
  • delays caused by third-party providers;
  • loss arising from inaccurate information you provide.

(b) Televita does not provide medical or pharmaceutical advice and is not responsible for clinical decisions, dispensing decisions, or medication selection.

(c) Nothing in these Terms limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.


9. PRIVACY & COLLECTION NOTICE

We collect personal and health information for the purpose of providing the TeleScript Rx Services, including:

  • managing orders;
  • facilitating communication between prescribers, patients and pharmacies;
  • arranging delivery;
  • complying with regulatory obligations

We may share information with pharmacies, prescribers, delivery providers, IT providers, regulators and other authorised parties.
